Oh my little Noah!
The world's most photographed baby! Noah is the sweetest baby! He hung out with us girls all day on Saturday and was so sweet and wonderful! He is also the man of a million expressions! I sure love that kid! Here are only a few of the millions of pictures I took of my adorable nephew on Saturday.
Prom!
This past Saturday was Sarah's senior prom!! Katie, Noah, Sarah and I spent all day together getting Sarah ready for prom. We had a ladies lunch..(with Noah), went shopping, went to the salon to get Sarah's hair done, and then over to get her make-up done. Then Sarah got her dress on and we all headed over for pictures. We had a great day! Sarah looked beautiful, and so classic! Her red shoes were a nice touch!

New Blog on the horizon
I have a new adventure in the works for a new blog. I have decided to spotlight MY favorite places in Portland to go to. Any one who is super cool and lives in Portland will most certainly turn their noses up at it due to the lameness that is me and my spots in Portland. However... they are still my favorite places to hang out, eat and shop! I thought it might be fun and that it might perhaps inspire people to come out and see my favorite city! It will also FORCE me to go to all my favorite places and indulge a bit this summer while I am bored out of my mind because I am not going to school.
This weekend I have started to collect the pictures. Our first entry is going to be Toji, my favorite Korean BBQ place on Hawthorne.
I will post a link as soon as it is born!

Chi update
I talked to the breeder on Friday. She confirmed that the mom is having 8!!! puppies in her liter! That's a lot of chi-weenies....
Also-- Greek Easter was this past Sunday. We endured a lot teasing for the chi-weenie thing!! We need to re-name this "breed"! Chi-manly dog...or Chorizo!

A Chi What?!?!?
Matt and I are finally getting the first of our two dogs! With Matt's new schedule, we are finally able to get a dog! After much consideration on the types of dogs we wanted, what fit best for our lifestyle, the dogs we love, etc...we decided on getting a bulldog and a smaller dog. After doing a lot of research on bulldogs the only thing that we found out that concerned us was that they tend to have food aggression. After talking to some experts they recommended that if we are getting two dogs that we either get them both as puppies at the same time or bring in the bulldog second as a puppy. We aren't quite ready to buy the bulldog yet.
So the next hard step was figuring out what the other dog should be. I wanted a small dog. I am so in love with my other family dogs, Lola, Oliver, and Toby( who are chihuahuas) . Of course Lucy is the queen of my heart, but the little dogs have changed my once turned-up nose to the little toy breeds. Matt on the other-hand has not had the altering experience that I have had. I knew that it would be a stretch convincing Matt to get a chi. The boys however, love Lola, Oliver and Toby. On top of loving chi's, Isaac loves Doxies.
While hunting for dogs. We were contacted by a woman in town who has a dog that is called a Chi-weenie. She is a mix between a chihuahua and a doxie. She was pregnant with puppies and the dad is also a Chi-weenie. What a great compromise!!! lol We did some research on Chi-weenies, aka, Chi-wees, Chi-weiners, and it sounded perfect! They are also very cute dogs! We told the breeder of this lovely mutt breed that we wanted one of the pups! I love looking at the pictures of Chi-wees. They can all look so different. Some take on the chi's ears, others are tall, some are short and stumpy. Some are bred with mini-doxies and other are big like regular doxies. Here is link to some picture of Chi-weenies. Here is another one that's fun too! Our dog's parents are part mini-doxies and mom doesn't weigh much.
She is due in two weeks. We should have our new dog at the end of June, beginning of July! I posted some pictures of mom when she was a puppy. The dad also has similar markings. Pretty great stuff!! In fact mom is going to the vet today to find out how many puppies she is having.
YaaaaaHOOOOOOO!!
Matt recently joined the Yahoo family and became an official yahoo. He will now be a manager for their Small Business Web-hosting Division. He finally got out of banking!!!
It was quite the process...but 8 interviews later and 2 major background checks and he was welcomed to computer geek Disneyland. It's really exciting and I have never seen him so happy to go to work!! We are officially branded now, with t-shirts, license plates and cool-batman signal pens! I just have to figure out how to part with my gmail account. (I don't think I can do it)
On his first day, (which was Monday) it was really fun to hear about the cool toys he got. He came home with his fancy laptop and yahoo gear bag. It was really fun! On Tuesday...I got to hear about the free movie screenings, and the weekly in-house massages. On Wednesday he told me about the stocked fridges full free drinks and food and the game-room. On Thursday he mentioned that he was going to work early to get coffee...at the coffee-shop that's...yes...free...at Yahoo. It was at that point that I looked at him and told him I was sick about hearing about his great work environment. Sheesh!
Oh...and yes...we are very aware of the Microsoft takeover thing. Don't worry...they took good care of Matt in the offer in case anything happens and according to Matt..he thinks "it would be great to work for Microsoft".

Details...details...details...
Planning this wedding has overall been really easy! I feel so lucky to have the support of my parents and Matt's parents, because of them I really am getting my dream wedding! It is going to be very small by both Greek and LDS standards! My sisters, Sarah and Katie are my bridesmaids. Sarah is the official maid of honor. I am also having my cousin Jessica's darling daughter, Josie as my flower girl and my best friend from high school's charming daughter Charley as my other flower girl! Matt's brother Dave will be his best man and his cousin Tom will be his groomsmen. We have my brother John and our good friend Dylan as the official good-looking bachelors/ushers at the wedding.
We are having the wedding at The Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland. It is my favorite hotel in Portland! It's also haunted! My favorite thing about The Heathman is that is right next to the Portland sign!
We have had a really fun time finalizing the menu! The Heathman is so great at working with us. My only special request of The Heathman was that Ian and Isaac get to eat whatever they want. Ian and Isaac without hesitation decided on their meals at the wedding. Isaac requested Steak, mashed potatoes, and peas. Ian wanted Pasta Mizithra. I have been to a lot of weddings where I have looking longingly at the kid's meals (ohh those yummy chicken fingers and fries) and looked down at my plate wishing I had that. I feel pretty good that the grown-up food is going to be pretty good, so hopefully those looks won't be too sad, although I can ALWAYS eat a plate of Mizithra!!
I picked my photographer! It was my big indulgence! She is great! Her name is Jessica and I think that most people will think she is one of my good friends when they meet her. She is very talented and I love her work! We are getting our engagement photos done on June 1st.
The dress is being custom made by the same woman who made my sister's dress. The cake has been tested (yum) and we have ordered it with the famous champagne cake layer and a delicious banana layer. I have even decided not to do my own flowers.
All in all....it looks like it is going to be a really fun weekend!

"Going to the Heathman and goooonna get maaarried.."
Matt and I got engaged on Feb. 28th over sushi at Sin Ju, (right across from Pudding on the Rice!). It was very romantic and perfect for the two of us. Neither of us planned on being engaged at the end of that evening, but after some rather sweet conversation it both hit us and felt very right, aligned, magical, and perfect. We set a date before the check came! Matt told the boys and they were very excited! It was really fun!
We decided on August 29, 2008! We will have the rehearsal dinner the night before, a small ceremony and reception at The Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland, and then a brunch at the Sly's the next morning. That Sunday we fly to LA to spend a couple of days bumming around LA, (we will also be stopping at Six Flags!), then on Wednesday, Sept 3rd, we fly off to China! We are sooo excited! We are in the middle of wedding plans, getting visas, and documentation ready to head over to China! It's really exciting!

Long time no post!
Well, if you haven't heard by now then you don't know me!! I am the very proud aunt of the greatest nephew ever to grace the planet! Mr. Noah Foushee! It was really exciting having him come into our family! I went to the hospital as soon as he popped out! Katie was a trooper and I felt terrible for her and what she had to endure to have that kid. But of course, like all babies he was very worth it. I stayed with Katie late each night she stayed at the hospital to keep her company. It was great! I got to hang out with Noah for many hours and I just couldn't get over how great he was. He is VERY photogenic, with bright red hair. He does look like his Daddy but I see some Katie in him too. He is capable of Katie's wide eyes. My biggest mission is building his library! Mom or Grandma (lol) kind of took over the stuff animal thing (and then some). I try hard to have a book for him every time I see him. Kids books are so fun! I think that growing up I had some pretty amazing aunts! I hope I can be half as fun as they all were (and still are!) Take a look at my beautiful nephew and don't feel bad if you are green with envy. It is to be expected!
