We stayed at the all-inclusive Moon Palace Spa and Resort. It was fabulous!

As we got off of our buses from the airport we were greeted by all the Wells Fargo Executives. They gave us each paper flowers. Matt displays his in true fashion.

The first night we were there, they had a big fiesta for everyone. They had traditional Mexican dancers, mariachi bands, great food and they even let you pose for pictures with a donkey. It felt very authentic. (Although, later when we were downtown Cancun, I was disappointed that I saw no donkeys) 

The band that was playing that night was great! 

 

The resort we stayed at wasn't on the hotel strip in downtown Cancun. It was very private. The beach went for miles. 

Downtown Cancun 

Matt on our tour bus-

Cancun had a hurricane hit it very hard last year. Everywhere you drove the trees were broken. You could see how the hurricane just folded over the jungle.The hurricane's eye hovered for many hours over Cancun. Our resort had just re-opened and only 25% of Cancun's main resorts were re-opened.

At the beach! It was so beautiful and secluded! It was wonderful! 

Carnival--Rally Night 

We had a huge rally and dinner. It was a Carnival theme. There were performers all over the place and drums. It was a very loud party. Matt got very into the Wells Fargo spirit! (Even though he works for US Bank)
